Good people.
Great causes.
One community.
You've got a cause worth bringing people together for. Let's find out how High Side can help give it a place to shine.
From fundraising nights to community gatherings and music-driven events, we welcome inquiries from registered nonprofit organizations looking to connect with the Chaffee County community.
Local partnerships. Community connections. Good reasons to get together.
The best things happen when people show up.
In a town like Salida, community is more than something we talk about. It's neighbors supporting neighbors, local organizations doing meaningful work, and people coming together to make good things happen.
Bring people together
Create a gathering where neighbors can connect, learn about your mission, and discover ways to get involved.
Give your cause a voice
Introduce more people to the work you're doing and the difference your organization hopes to make.
Turn a good night into good
Whether it's a fundraiser, awareness event, or community celebration, meaningful connections are where progress begins.
What are you bringing the community together for?
Every organization has a different story. These are a few types of events you can tell us about when submitting a request.
Fundraisers
Gather your supporters and introduce new people to your organization's mission.
Community Gatherings
Bring neighbors, volunteers, and supporters together in one welcoming place.
Awareness Events
Share important work, open conversations, and help more people understand your cause.
Music & Entertainment
Propose a community-focused event featuring music or entertainment, subject to applicable requirements and approval.
High Side's nonprofit event application states that, under local requirements, amplified live music events must be hosted by a registered nonprofit organization. Our team will need to review organization eligibility, event details, and compliance requirements before any event is approved.
Submitting a request does not guarantee event approval or authorization for amplified music.
Big ideas start with a conversation.
Here's what to expect when submitting a nonprofit event request.
Verify your organization
Provide your nonprofit's legal name, registration information, tax ID, and primary contact details.
Tell us about the event
Describe the event, share possible dates and times, and estimate how many people may attend.
Let our team review it
We'll review the request, applicable requirements, and possible next steps before confirming any arrangements.
Let's hear what you've got in mind.
Tell us about your organization and the event you're hoping to host. The more complete your information, the easier it will be for our team to evaluate your request.
A few things to have handy
All nonprofit event requests are subject to review, availability, applicable regulations, and High Side policies. Submission does not guarantee approval or reserve your requested date.

Planning a regular private event instead?
Birthdays, family gatherings, company celebrations, and other private parties have their own booking process. We've got a form for those, too.
A stronger community is worth showing up for.
Thanks for the work you're doing in our community. If you have questions about hosting an event, we're happy to help you find the right place to start.
